Google Search for ‘Best Toilet Paper in the World’ Shows India Flag

After reports of the Indian flag showing up if one searches for ‘Best toilet paper in the world,’ Google has come out with a statement, saying that it has not found any evidence that Google was ranking the Indian flag in response to this search.

“While we continue to investigate the matter, we have not found any evidence that Google Images was ranking the Indian flag in response to this particular search.  Since these news stories published, images from those articles are now ranking for this query, as the pages contain words relevant to the search.”
